Jaime B. Pinto I finally pinpointed the problem exactly. It also happens in my dev. computer.
Whenever i run the EXE from within VFP there is no problem.
If i double-click on the EXE from windows, i get the error. Problem with config.fpw maybe?

This behavior is by design of VFP. You can just try to make code changes
until it works, For example GO RECNO() or refresh the grid.
