I have updated the VFX 17.0 trial version to 17.00.1311 and everything is fine now.
No more "An unspecified registry error occurred" error.
My initial version was 17.00.1221, that was giving the error.

Hello,
I tried to create new project using Project Wizard with VFX 17.0
It was created successfully but in the process of opening the Project
Manager is display error :
Project Error
An unspecified registry error occurred
I have tried to uninstall and reinstall more than 2 times, each time i also
try to create new project using default options, it always display the
error.
Kindly assist.

NOTE: after several trial, i later downloaded VFX 16.0 and it works fine
without generating any error.
