Dear Uwe,
thank you for your help.

Where do you execute this query and declare the variables20
Answer:
I am using a cData form
I set the variable defaults in the form INIT and allow changes to the variables on the form.
I then create the query in a CMD button on the cData form edit page

I have tried adding the report to the cData builder â=80=93 Form Options | Report Name
but the report printer icon is greyed out and will not work.

The report contains mostly calculated fields worked out from the query

COUNT TO total
COUNT TO nScanned FOR Scanned = .T.
ScanPercent = ALLTRIM(STR(nScanned/Total*100,4,1) + '%')

Apart from building my own single page report I am not sure how to include these variables in a VFX generated report
created on the Reports tab of the cData Form Builder

Kind regards,
David

Hi David!

>>I need just a very simple report of only one page showing some data
statistics collected using an SQL query<<

Where do you execute this query and declare the variables20

>>This works fine directly but when running via VFXMenu<<

All VFX print functionality is intended to be used in forms.

What about creating a view with your query and put it in the data
environment of a cdataform? You could click on print in the toolbar to run
your report and also create PDF files or send e-mails.
