David Phillips solved the problem and the solution may help someone else.

Adding vfxpripol.dbf , vfxpripol.cdx and vfxpripol.fpt to the Data folder fixed the problem when adding VFXPath.DBF with and without an added record filled and not fille]]>...

There is no change between VFX 17 and VFX 18 in accessing data.

Vfxpath.dbf must point to the data folder relative from the exe folder.

Do you mean goprogram.napplicationtimeout? You can change this value at runtime with any user specific setting.

David Phillips I have succeeded in timeout shutting down by adding a CLEAR GETS and DEACTIVATE WINDOW and RELEASE WINDOW on the window I use inserted into Vfxctrlbase.vcx - capplicationtimerbase.timer thank you.
