--from Newsreader at Mittwoch, 16. Juni 2021; 06:24:11-- Dear Uwe, have been trying to debug the Timeout function and I think maybe it is because I use the old @ Get ... Read data input on my main screen. Could this be the case and if so can I work around that? Kind regards, David "David Phillips" wrote in message news:743125... --from Newsreader at Montag, 14. Juni 2021; 08:56:09-- Dear Uwe, After loading my VFX program and showing the VFXMenu I open a background form over the top of my Desktop picture. I could find no alternative to using just the standard Form from VFP. When the application times out it comes up with a messagebox saying “Cannot Quit Visual FoxPro†Is there something I should change on my background for to make timeout work? Many Thanks, David "David Phillips" wrote in message news:743110... --from Newsreader at Sonntag, 6. Juni 2021; 20:17:06-- Hi David! >>is it possible to allow the user to alter the Application timeout period >>eg one user may like 10min another 5min<< This is not a feature of VFX. However, you can do this programmaically. Edit the timeout time in Vfxusr.scx and store the value in Vfxusr.dbf. In onpostlogin set goprogram.napplicationtimeout. Uwe Habermann
