Yes I am a bit old, I started with FoxBase and have migrated through the versions over the decades.
yes your sample applications works and I have done something that has upset your framework.
Controls that I put on a form should they come from VFXObj class?
I also see a cForm there instead of the standard VFP Form. Shoulkd I use cForm?

This should not happen in a VFX app because of the onshutdown function.
Maybe you did something to break this functionality.
Please try it with one of the demo apps.
